There’s a new Beatrix Market in town, Chicago! Calling all Loop residents and 9 to 5’ers, DePaul Loop Campus students, healthy food seekers, coffee addicts, pizza lovers, salad connoisseurs and cocktail aficionados. So yes, we’re talkin’ to you and we mean it when we say there’s something for everyone at this second stand-alone Beatrix Market.

Beatrix Market Salad Bar

Located on DePaul’s Loop Campus (23 E. Jackson Blvd) comes the two-story Beatrix Market, fully equipped with more than seven hot and cold food bars, a pizza counter, two coolers with grab and go favorites, a Beatrix coffee bar complete with house-made pastries and specialty coffees, a full bar, private dining, and more.

Similar to the nearby Chicago ‘L’ train that conveniently stops (almost) right in front of the new Market, there are a lot of new ‘stops’ for you to make in this Market.

STOP 1: DIY Greek Yogurt Bar

Beatrix Greek Yogurt with berries and granola

Not in the mood for your usual protein shake or granola bar for breakfast or an afternoon snack? We’ve put a twist on a build-your-own yogurt bar so you can personalize your parfait, every day. Choose from Vanilla Greek, Plain or Wildberry yogurt and top it off with coffee granola, mixed berries, toasted coconut, dried pineapple, and more.

STOP 2: The Pizza Counter

Whether you’re looking for a quick slice in between meetings, or you’re craving some Chicago-style deep dish pizza, stop at the pizza counter for a quick and cheesy bite. Unlike any other Beatrix Market, the new DePaul Loop location tosses up hand-made pizza slices and individual deep dish pies all-day long. Enjoy toppings like Pepperoni, Sausage, and Veggie. Gluten free pizza is also available!

STOP 3: Mexican Food Bar

Do you want to finally be in charge of how much guac and salsa goes into your meal? By-pass the salad bars and have a fiesta of a lunch with options like Spicy Chicken Tamales, Chicken Tinga, Carnitas, Tortillas and more! Doing a quick salsa dance after is not required, but we think you’ll feel inclined when you see this selection.

STOP 4: Coffee and Pastry Break

Beatrix Latte

When it’s time for an afternoon caffeine boost or snack break head over to Beatrix’s signature coffee bar. Enjoy new favorites including the Butterfly Cortado, Iced Banana Joe, Yuzu Black Tea and Turmeric Chai or indulge on house-made pastries and cookies like the Angel Food Cake Muffin, Emmy’s Gluten Free Cream Cheese Coffee Cake (named after Shameless star and Beatrix lover, Emmy Rossum) and the Nutella Stuffed Cookie.

Time to transfer… head downstairs

Did we mention that the new Market is two levels? Upstairs you will find a 30-seat dining room with high-top tables looking out to Jackson Blvd., and when you head downstairs there is another dining room, lounge and bar.

STOP 5: Full Cocktail Bar

Tumeric Rush Cocktail at Beatrix

With all good meals, meetings or hangouts comes something great to sip on. Whether your preference is a fresh-squeezed juice like the Power Greens or Carrot, Apple and Ginger, a handcrafted cocktail like the Turmeric Rush with turmeric tonic infused bourbon, honey syrup and lemon, or the Pink Ranger with botanist gin, Aperol, lemon juice and angostura or a craft beer from breweries like Moody Tongue or Two Brother’s, Beatrix Market has you covered. Grab a chair in the 50-seat downstairs dining room, or snag a spot at the 12-seat bar with your pals or co-workers after a long day.

Last (but the certainly not least) Stop: Private Dining Room & Catering Options

Looking for a private space for your next team meeting, study group, or presentation? The 16-seat private boardroom, or Study Hall as we are calling it, is available to reserve and has A/V capabilities, conference abilities and more. For those who want to enjoy Beatrix Market favorites but can’t leave for the day, catering and delivery options are available. View the Beatrix Market catering menu here.

Don’t miss your stop, we’ll see you there!
