Booth One’s Pastry Chef, Andrea Coté, has created a beautifully festive dessert to try this holiday season: Buche de Noel.
Traditionally served during the Christmas season, the Buche de Noel features a chocolate sponge cake that is soaked in coffee and rolled with a hazelnut buttercream. Decorated with chocolate shards and a sprig of rosemary, the Buche de Noel is designed to look like a yule log, accompanied by a hand-crafted marshmallow snowman complete with a scarf. Perfect to share with the table, the Buche de Noel at Booth One is a modern take on the French classic dessert.
Offered as a sweet ending to the Christmas Eve pre-fixe holiday dinner, served from 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM and the Christmas Day pre-fixe holiday dinner, served from 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM for $65 per person, plus tax (gratuity not included).
