Chef / Partner Jeff Mahin has always been inspired by the idea of simple, honest cooking paired with top-quality ingredients so that’s why Chef Mahin, along with his culinary team are excited to serve up a weekday menu that focuses on their interpretations of all-time favorite comfort foods available for dine-in, carryout or delivery.
Here’s the dish on the lunch menu: A tour de force of all-time favorite “comfort foods” that are packed with a nostalgic taste, and locally sourced ingredients. Items include Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup made with sourdough bread baked fresh every morning, and a blend of aged cheddar and Swiss cheeses and The Crispy Chicken Sandwich with honey mustard and sweet and spicy pickles.
Stella Barra still sticks to its pizzeria roots firing up more than a dozen red, white, and Thin Sin pizza options that are all handmade, one of our signature favorites is the Shaved Mushroom with gruyère, melted onion, truffle oil, rosemary and parsley. Gluten-free? Any pizza can be made with our potato and rice flour dough (made in an area that contains flour).
For those lunching with little ones, Kids’ Pizza Making is available at Stella Barra Santa Monica on Fridays from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, making it a fun activity to get the weekend started early. Stella Barra Santa Monica’s new weekday lunch is available Monday – Friday from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
