WHAT: Hosted by RPM Wine Director Richard Hanauer and chef Christian Fantoni, this educational four-course virtual experience features a 1996 Barbaresco by Cantina Vignaioli Pertinace from Piedmont paired with Black Truffle Beef Tartare, Mediterranean Octopus Cavatappi, Crispy Roast Chicken with Wild Mushrooms & Polenta and Chocolate Raspberry Torta for dessert. In a live Zoom session, the team discusses the wine pairing and menu while guests can ask questions. WHAT: Rum lovers, rejoice! Join the James Beard Greens Group in Chicago on Friday, May 29 at 5:00 PM CST for an ode to all things Tiki by way of a virtual meet-and-greet with Kevin Beary, Beverage Director of Three Dots and a Dash. Livefrom The Bamboo Room at Three Dots and a Dash, Kevin will demonstrate how to make a Mai Tai, which suitably translates to “out of this world” in Tahitian.
