After the kid’s soccer game in the park, head over to Stella Barra for a hands-on dinner. While you’re on your first glass of wine, let the kids can make their own pizzas right at the pizza bar with our chefs. Once the chefs pop it in the oven, it will be delivered right to your table.

After a long day trekking through the Lincoln Park Zoo with the kids, stop by R.J. Grunts for a hearty meal served on old-fashioned cafeteria trays with crayons and animal crackers. The dishes are created with similar ingredients and preparation to the main menu, but without the more exotic and spicy flavors that our adult guests enjoy. Navy Pier – Chicago
Lettuce is at Navy Pier with plenty of kid-friendly options including Big City Chicken, Frankie’s Pizza by the Slice, Ozzie’s Pops & Pretzels, and Big Bowl Chinese Express.


Oyster Bah
Kids age 12 and under eat FREE during Happy Hour at Oyster Bah, Monday – Thursday from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM and Friday & Saturday from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Additionally, Oyster Bah’s kids’ menu includes entrees for just $5.95, plus tax (gratuity not included) and includes mac n’ cheese, cheeseburgers, fish & chips and more all served with their choice of fries or steamed broccoli. Have a brave little eater? At Oyster Bah, when your kid has their first oyster, they get to feel like a star! After ringing a cowbell and a restaurant wide round of applause, their name will be hung on a plaque in the Oyster Bah dining room.

R.J. Grunts
Lincoln Park stalwart R.J. Grunts isn’t just for the big kids. With free stroller valet, smaller kids portions served on old-fashioned cafeteria trays with crayons and animal crackers and a dozen flavors of hand-dipped milkshakes, this place is sure to please even the youngest of diners. The family-friendly spot — the original Lettuce Entertain You restaurant — is also located just steps from the Lincoln Park Zoo.

Lil Bunz Kids Meal Wow Bao

Wow Bao – Lakeview, Gold Coast & Michigan Avenue
Perfect for kid-sized hands, bao is an Asian steamed bun filled with a variety of flavors and easy to munch on-the-go. If dining in at the Michigan Avenue, Gold Coast and Lakeview locations, kids age 10 and under can order the smiley face-shaped Lil’ Bunz Meal, which includes two mini Teriyaki Chicken Bao and a Ginger Chicken Potsticker on a bed of lettuce and Jasmine white rice. The newest Wow Bao locations are fully-automated with a digital cubby wall where orders are picked up featuring fun animations — bonus entertainment for kids of all ages.
