Beatrix’s Chocolate-covered Macaroon Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich is available at all four locations (River North, Streeterville, Fulton Market, and Oak Brook). The dessert features local Homer’s vanilla ice cream sandwiched between two of the restaurant’s housemade coconut macaroon cookies. At Ozzie’s Pops & Pretzels on Navy Pier, you can enjoy a variety of ice cream popsicles between rides on the Ferris Wheel. Flavors include Chocolate, Vanilla, Chocolate-Banana, Mint Oreo, Peanut Butter & Jelly, Toasted Coconut, Dulce de Leche, and Orangesicle.

With a Japanese twist…
Wow Bao and Sushi-San both offer their takes on mochi, a traditional Japanese sweet treat. At Wow Bao, sweet and sticky rice wrappers are filled with premium ice cream in one of four flavors: Mango, Salted Caramel, Passionfruit, and Strawberry. Can’t make up your mind? For those who prefer their ice cream with a caffeine kick, RPM Italian offers affogatos with housemade gelato topped with espresso. The restaurant offers two varieties: Classic with vanilla bean gelato and La Colombe espresso or Bicerin with chocolate-hazelnut gelato and RPM cold press coffee.
