Petterino’s Santa Brunch & Christkindlmarket
For a fun-filled day in downtown Chicago, stop by Petterino’s weekend Santa Brunch before making your way over to Daley Plaza to experience Chicago’s largest open-air Christmas festival. Christkindlmarket Chicago runs from November 15 – December 24, 2019, and located just steps away, Petterino’s hosts brunch with Santa every Saturday and Sunday in December from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The seasonal buffet features freshly-made salads, appetizers such as Smoked Salmon on toasted crostini and Shrimp Cocktail, chef-manned stations carving roasted New York Strip and Peppercorn Turkey Breast and an impressive sweets table to finish. Petterino’s Santa Brunch is $39.95 per adult and $14.95 for children aged 12 or younger (plus tax, gratuity not included).
Happy Hour at Wildfire & Illumination: Tree Lights
After walking the mile-long outdoor holiday lights experience at the Morton Arboretum, warm up with a signature martini and half priced appetizers at Wildfire – Oak Brook, located just 10 minutes away. Available in the lounge only Monday – Friday from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM and again from 9:00 PM – close, Wildfire’s happy hour features appetizers like Oven-Baked Pretzels with honey mustard and cheddar for dipping, Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail and Bison Meatballs with tomato sauce. Illumination: Tree Lights at the Morton Arboretum runs from November 23, 2019 – January 5, 2020.
Extended Holiday Hours at Mon Ami Gabi & ZooLights
On Saturdays and Sundays from November 30, 2019 – January 5, 2020, Mon Ami Gabi in Lincoln Park opens at 4:00 PM. Enjoy an early dinner paired with a cozy cocktail like the new Sidecar with Pierre Ferrand 1er Cru Cognac, Mathilde Dry Curacao and lemon before making your way to ZooLights at the Lincoln Park Zoo, located just across the street from the French bistro. ZooLights at Lincoln Park Zoo runs from November 29, 2019 – January 5, 2020.
