Happy Earth Day! On Thursday, April 18 – Saturday, April 27, celebrate Mother Nature with these environmentally-friendly special dishes and cocktails at select Lettuce Entertain You restaurants. We thrive to do our best to reduce our carbon footprint in our restaurants through suppporting sustainable practices to kicking off a company-wide initiative to remove non-biodegradable straws from our restaurants.
Shaw’s Crab House – Chicago: On Monday, April 22 from 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM, enjoy $8 plus tax, (gratuity not included) glasses of Proud Pour wine in the Oyster Bar of Shaw’s Crab House – Chicago. Proud Pour’s wines are sustainable, vegan, and support science-based environmental restoration. Each glass of the Sauvignon Blanc funds the restoration of 20 oysters back to the wild and each glass of the Pinot Noir plants 18 sq. ft of bee habitat on Midwest farms. Summer House Santa Monica- Chicago: From Thursday, April 18 – Wednesday, April 24 enjoy the Poblano Escobar cocktail with muddled poblano peppers, wild grown Cruz De Fuego Mezcal, pineapple juice, agave and garnished with grilled pineapple for $15 plus tax (gratuity not included). The restaurant is partnering with Cruz De Fuego, S.A.C.R.E.D. (saving agave for culture, recreation, education and development) and D.A.C.A (distilled agave for childhood arrivals) to support conservation and human rights in honor of Earth Day. For every Cruz De Fuego Mezcal bottle purchased, these groups will plant an agave plant in rural Mexico.
