Best Bloody Mary Bars for Game Day
Your team may not always win, but there’s not much that can beat a great build-your-own bloody mary bar – especially on Game Day.
We’ve rounded up our best brunch spots with bloody mary bars, so bring your crew and grab your glass and start mapping out your bloody mary game plan for the weekend.
During weekend brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba! features a bloody mary bar with tons of Spanish-influenced options. Start with your choice of any spirit (Tito’s and Absolut Peppar vodkas are favorites, but you can also opt for tequila, bourbon or gin if you want to switch it up) and then choose from mixers like organic tomato juice or Uncle Dougie’s Torpedo Juice. But the pros know to mix it up with the housemade gazpacho for a unique play on a traditional bloody. Moving down the line, select from more than 21 garnishes including hot sauces, bacon strips, shrimp & onion skewers or Spanish olives. Once you’re done, there’s only one more game-time decision to make: whether to add a draft beer back for $1.
Price: $10 (plus tax) per visit
Now available every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Hub 51’s all-new bloody mary bar is a Game Day crowd-pleaser. Pick from regular or pepper-infused Basic vodka and let your server know if you would like the special spice rim with dried tomato, blue cheese and salt for a direct hit of umami. (Hint: go for it!) Add classic garnishes like blue cheese-stuffed olives, pickles and celery or get more creative – think cheese pizza from Happy Camper, mini grilled cheeses and Bub City smoked beef sticks. No matter what you choose, you’re sure to have a winner every time.
Price: $11.95 (plus tax) per trip
Available during weekend brunch at both the Chicago (from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM) and Rosemont (Sundays 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM) locations, Bub City’s bloody mary bar should be in the Hall of Fame. To kick it off, choose from vodka, tequila, rye or bourbon and add Bub’s housemade bloody mary mix or tomato juices. But the garnishes are where it really gets good: roasted peppers, shrimp, pimento cheese-stuffed olives, oysters, pickled vegetables and house-smoked sausages let you build your perfect bloody mary masterpiece. A Miller High Life pony is also included.
