Invite Your Friends

Because it’s not a party without your pals! Your Oscar gathering can be big and boisterous or small and intimate. Either way, the same party tips apply.

Dress The Part

Roll out the Red Carpet and play up the Hollywood glam. Or, since it is a Sunday evening after all, break out your most stylish pajamas and gussy them up with jewels and baubles, heels and gloves, and award-winning hair and makeup. Present your own “Oscar” to the winners for Best Costume Design and Best Hair & Makeup.

Pop The Bubbly

Nothing says “party” like tall glasses of tiny bubbles. Greet your guests with flutes of champagne or prosecco, and stash some bottles in a sleek silver tub on ice for extra flare. One of our faves, of course, is Giuliana Prosecco! This sparkling wine boasts notes of fresh white peach and lemon zest with a delicate bouquet of white flowers. It’s fantastic on its own but also pairs perfectly with food. Giuliana reminds you to chill it for at least a two hours in the fridge before you start pouring. She loves it extra cold and crisp.

Prefer Cocktails?

Combine prosecco with fresh peach puree for the ultimate RPM Bellini, or use it to make the ever-popular Spritz & Giggles with fresh raspberries and vodka from RPM Italian.

Put Out An Impressive Spread

Take a page out of the Governors Ball handbook (the official post-Oscars celebration) and serve up fanciful and fun food for your party. Giuliana recommends a gorgeous salumi and cheese board (it’s so easy to put together!), or indulge in a luxurious seafood platter. Accent the table with cicchetti (small Italian bites) and antipasti – Fried Olives with fennel sausage and mozzarella, Provolone-Stuffed Peppers and Lobster Caprese Bites all do the trick. Click here to learn how to put together the perfect charcuterie board. Click here to see our favorite party appetizers!

Don’t Forget Dessert

Giuliana recommends warm Bombolini with Nutella and Sicilian Cannoli. Or try your hand at making RPM Italian’s all-new light and refreshing Bellini Float made vanilla gelato, peach puree and topped with Giuliana prosecco.
