About the event

Take a step back in time to thirteenth-century Rome and experience their pastas and wines first-hand! On Tuesday, March 10 from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM, join Stella Barra Pizzeria & Wine Bar in Santa Monica for an interactive Pasta & Pours 101 class. Learn of the beginnings of iconic pasta dishes that have stood the test of time, starting with Pasta alla Gricia with guanciale and pecorino romano, plus Penne Carbonara with pancetta and egg. Meanwhile, hear about regional Italian red wines and how they’ve evolved alongside the country’s cuisine, with selections expertly paired with each dish.
