Naoki Sushi is back, open for carryout and delivery in Chicago’s River North with new dishes, a new pick-up point (21 E. Hubbard St.) and more. Led by Chef Naoki Nakashima, the restaurant will dish out signature sashimi, maki, and specialty Japanese dishes daily for lunch and dinner.
Much like the original Naoki Sushi, which opened in Lincoln Park in January 2016, the carryout and delivery restaurant offers a variety of chef’s special composed sashimi including Tuna Sashimi with Dashi Vinaigrette, Salmon Sashimi with Spicy Ginger Soy, Yellowtail Sashimi with Ponzu and more, starters like Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, Cucumber Kimchi, Pan Fried Gyoza with Chicken & Pork, a new modern take on Miso Soup made with tomato, shiitake, tofu, bok choy, scallions and classic maki like Spicy Tuna, Crunchy Garlic Salmon, Shrimp Tempura and more. Guests can also order non-sushi items like Sambal Chicken Skewer and Fried Calamari to complete their meal, plus a Sweet Orange Fudge Cake for dessert.
Chef Naoki was born and raised in Fukuoka, Japan, and has worked all over the world from his training in California and Kuala Lumpur to opening his own restaurant, Izakaya, in Hong Kong before finding his new home in Chicago. Chef Naoki helped to develop the sushi program at Lettuce Entertain You with his development of Shaw’s Crab House sushi menu nearly two decades ago, and today, he is excited to return home to Shaw’s kitchen to offer guests a great to-go experience with this new iteration of his namesake sushi restaurant.
In addition to ordering from Naoki Sushi, guests can also add on their favorites from Shaw’s Crab House and Vong’s Thai Kitchen, all in one order!
Naoki Sushi is open daily for carryout and delivery only from Sunday – Thursday from 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM and Friday – Saturday from 12:00 PM – 9:30 PM. Guests can pick-up Naoki Sushi from Shaw’s Crab House – Chicago at 21 E. Hubbard St. Order carryout and delivery via ChowNow or call 312-527-2722.
