M Burger is excited to announce their partnership with Impossible Foods to introduce Chicago to the Impossible Burger. Starting Thursday, September 21, M Burger’s Huron location (161 E. Huron St.) will be among the first in Chicago where you can try the Impossible Burger, the world’s only burger that looks, handles, smells, cooks and tastes like ground beef from cows – but is made entirely from plants.
For one month only, M Burger Huron will serve the Impossible Burger with lettuce, pickle, onion, tomato, M Sauce and American cheese for $8.99.
About the Impossible Burger
Made for meat-lovers, the Impossible Burger is the world’s only burger that looks, handles, smells, cooks and tastes like ground beef from cows — but is made entirely from plants, with a much smaller environmental footprint than meat from animals. The Impossible Burger is made from simple ingredients found in nature, including water, wheat protein, potato protein, coconut oil, and heme, a protein found in all living plants and animals that catalyzes meaty flavor. The Impossible Burger is produced without hormones, antibiotics, cholesterol or artificial flavors. It uses about 75% less water, generates about 87% fewer greenhouse gases and requires around 95% less land than conventional ground beef from cows.
The Impossible Burger is Impossible Foods‘ first product, and is currently served at over 50 locations across the country. Impossible Foods makes delicious meat, fish and dairy foods directly from plants. The company’s mission is to transform the global food system to support the planet and growing human population.
