The Iconic French Restaurant Launches a Limited Time Only Carryout Menu

For a limited time, Chef J. Joho is bringing back casual French fare from his namesake restaurant, Brasserie Jo. Brasserie Jo is now available for carryout only and guests can choose between a menu for two for $32.95, plus tax or a menu for four for $65.90, plus tax. 

Orders must be placed online by 1:00 PM the day of and pick-up is daily from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM daily at 620 N. State St.

Each menu is available for two weeks at a time with a limited number available per day. The opening menu from Chef Joho will be available now through May 9 and includes favorites like Carrots a la Jo, Chicken Coq Au Vin with Alsace Knepfla, Chocolate Mousse, a French baguette and more. There are also three French wines available, all hand-selected by Chef Joho to pair perfectly with the menu, as well as an Alsatian beer.

Brasserie Jo was a James Beard Award Winning French restaurant from Chef Joho and Lettuce Entertain You that opened in 1995. The restaurant was located in Chicago’s River North and it was known to be the first true brasserie in Chicago. The restaurant closed its doors in 2010, after 15 years, and Chef Joho is excited to bring some of the iconic restaurant’s signature dishes to guests in Chicago.
