Do you have plans yet to ring in the New Year? If not, here are some ideas of suburban restaurants and clubs hosting New Year’s Eve parties and New Year’s Day brunches. Don’t delay making those reservations though.

Big Bowl: 215 Parkway Drive, Lincolnshire, (847) 808-8880, and 1950 E Higgins Road, Schaumburg, (847) 517-8881 or bigbowl.com/. The regular menu plus daily specials will be on tap from noon to 10 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. Reservations recommended.

Bub City: MB Financial Park, 5441 Park Place, Rosemont, (847) 261-0399 or bub-city.com/rosemont/. Kick off New Year’s Eve with a brunch serving Southern staples and a DIY Bloody Mary Bar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. New Year’s Eve dinner specials include smoked prime rib, seafood boil and a barbecue rib dinner, all while enjoying the music of Suburban Cowboys (no cover charge before 10 p.m.) and a champagne toast at midnight. Reservations required. Come back between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday for brunch featuring fried chicken and waffles, beef brisket benedict and the Bloody Mary Bar.

Starting at 9 p.m. New Year’s Eve, feast on a Southern barbecue dinner buffet, jam to Sixteen Candles, enjoy libations and stick around for a late-night breakfast. There will be a confetti blast at midnight. $85 general admission. New Year’s Eve tickets are good for $10 off brunch the next day at Bub City.

Mon Ami Gabi Oak Brook: 260 Oakbrook Center, Oak Brook, (630) 472-1900 or monamigabi.com/home/?loc=oakbrook. Roll out of bed in your pajamas and head to Mon Ami Gabi for a French breakfast featuring quiche, crepes, crème brûlée French toast and more from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday. Dine in your pajamas and receive a gift certificate equal to the price of your meal (minus tax and gratuity) to use on a future visit. The regular dinner menu will be available until 8 p.m.

Reel Club: 272 Oakbrook Center, Oak Brook, (630) 368-9400 or reel-club.com/. The seafood brunch buffet starting at 10 a.m. Sunday and Monday features seafood and salad options, assorted sushi rolls, smoked fish, carved prime rib, an omelette station and a selection of homemade desserts until 3 p.m., followed by the dinner menu with daily specials.

Shaw’s Crab House Schaumburg: 1900 E. Higgins Road, Schaumburg, (847) 517-2722 or shawscrabhouse.com/schaumburg/. Shaw’s will be serving up a New Year’s Day brunch, and to keep things casual, pajama attire is encouraged. From 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., nosh on breakfast and seafood favorites. All guests who wear pajamas will receive a $20.18 gift certificate to use toward their next Shaw’s visit. It’s $45 for adults (plus tax and gratuity), $10 for kids 7-12, and free for kids 6 and younger. Reservations recommended.
