(New) It’s hard to overestimate the popularity of chef C.J. Jacobson’s Aba, essentially a sequel to Ema, the River North restaurant he opened in 2016. Aba sits in the heart of restaurant-rich Fulton Market, and has become a foodie magnet; prime-time reservations are nearly impossible to get, and fans hit the doors at 4 p.m. opening to secure a coveted outdoor table. Like Ema, Aba is Middle Eastern but offers more meat dishes on the menu. Which makes sense; people tend to crave protein after a two-hour wait at the bar.
