— Chicagoans will have a unique way to spend New Year’s Eve this year — by partying with Hot Doug himself and an unlimited selection of his sausages. Doug Sohn will helm a pop-up on December 31 at the Library Bar inside the Ambassador Chicago hotel in the Gold Coast, where patrons can eat as many of his foie gras and sauternes duck sausages, alligator sausages with crayfish remoulade and Jarlsberg cheese, duck fat fries, and more Hot Doug’s favorites as their hearts desire. A cash bar and a DJ playing Sohn’s playlist round out the $100-per-person experience, tickets for which are available here.
