The sixth annual Taste of Lettuce—a culinary sampling of the Lettuce Entertain You brands in the western ’burbs—will be held on September 24. Chefs from Mon Ami Gabi, Antico Posto, and Wildfire will offer guests a four-course meal at host Wildfire, discussing culinary pairings throughout the evening. The event begins with a reception of passed appetizers—steak tartare (shown) and quiche Lorraine—at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Dishes include a golden beet and lobster salad, glazed beef tenderloin skewers with corn succotash, and blackberry crème brûlée pie. $70/person (plus tax and gratuity).
