Gluten-Free Wine Dinner

Attention all gluten-free diners: Wildfire in Oak Brook is hosting its ninth annual Gluten-Free Wine Dinner, with optional wine pairings, at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5. Resident gluten-free expert Ruth Hayden will discuss the five-course gluten-free menu. The menu includes salmon tartare on baked potato chips paired with Joel Gott Sauvignon Blanc ’17; Little Gem Salad with Mirabeau Rosé ’17; homemade ricotta gnocchi with chicken meatballs with La Crema Pinot Noir ’14; Steak & Cake (filet mignon and lump crabcake) with Ferrari-Carano Siena ’15; and flourless chocolate mousse torte with coffee or hot tea. It’s $65 without wine pairings and $85 with wine pairings. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center. Reservations are required.
