Mediterranean Wine Dinner

Summer House and Stella Barra present our Wine Dinner Series, exploring an off-menu selection of Old World and New World wines. Join us on April 25 for an evening of Mediterranean wines–Italy, Greece and Morocco–paired with regional cuisine from Executive Chef Ben Goodnick.

James Beard Eats Week

Executive Chef Ben Goodnick has created a 30 oz. Prime Porterhouse Steak with wild mushrooms and truffle-brown butter to enjoy during this year’s James Beard Eats Week. His dish is inspired by Beard’s love of outdoor cooking and will be cooked on Summer House’s wood grill. Additionally, the chanterelles used in the Prime Porterhouse Steak are from the Pacific Northwest, just like Beard himself. The region largely influenced Beard’s cuisine. Celebrate Passover at Summer House Santa Monica! We’re serving a special holiday menu for Passover this year, available on Monday, April 10 and Tuesday, April 11, between 5:30PM and 9:00PM. Enjoy a traditional Passover menu featuring a Seder Plate with matzo and a variety of Passover staples including Matzo Ball Soup, Housemade Gefilte Fish and Chopped Liver, followed by Slow-Braised Beef Short Rib and Flourless Chocolate Cake for dessert.

We are excited to welcome winemaker Michael Honig of Honig Winery for a multi-course menu paired with wines from this family-owned, sustainably grown and solar powered vineyard in Napa Valley, California.
