Cooking Fiesta at El Segundo Sol
On Saturday, February 25th, set your alarm clock for a class worth waking up for! Providing just enough time for all to rise and shine, Mexican mainstay El Segundo Sol will be opening its doors at 10 a.m. for its Cooking Fiesta, to teach those wanting to learn a culinary thing or two straight from the man behind its kitchen doors, executive chef Terry Lynch. Perfect for your next fiesta or get-together, signature menu items including Guacamole with Serrano and Pomegranate, Salad of Jicama and Grapefruit with Guajillo Chile Dressing, Braised Pork Tacos with Ancho and Pineapple will be on this syllabus. Every fabulous meal deserves an equally sweet ending, so guests will also learn the how-to behind Bunuellos with Mango Syrup. To complement these to-die-for dishes, recipes for Winter White Sangria and Margaritas with Cilantro and Cumin will be taught and tried. Bringing your appetite is a must as guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the spread, too. Price is $25 per person (excluding tax and gratuity).
