Shaw's Crab House Celebebrates Valentines Day with a Grand Crab Buffet

Let everyone else focus on surf ‘n’ turf standbys. This Valentine’s Day, both Shaw’s Crab House locations are showing the love with the perfect aphrodisiac dishes, sure to impress your honey.

The Schaumburg outpost of Shaw’s Crab House will focus on what it does best: serve crab-a-licious dishes on a Grand Crab Buffet in its private, upstairs dining room. Count on this: the spread will be serious, including everything from king to Dungeness and snow crab varieties. And, yes, there will be crab cakes, too, along with shrimp cocktail, lobster tails, sushi and fried shrimp. Favor salmon? It’ll be served, too, along with salads, sides and lobster bisque. Naturally, there will be a sweets table as well, and it’ll be topped with chocolate-covered strawberries.

Shaw’s Crab House Schaumburg will serve its Grand Crab Buffet from 5:30 until 9:00 p.m. on both Saturday, February 11 and Tuesday, February 14. The buffet costs $56 per person, not inclusive of tax and tip. In addition, guests who favor the traditional Shaw’s experience can dine in the downstairs dining rooms. Reservations are recommended.

But it doesn’t stop there. Romance is in the air at both Shaw’s Crab House locations the week leading up to Valentine’s Day. On offer is a lovely deal—a dozen Island Creek Oysters and two glasses of Piper-Heidsieck Brut Champagne for $38 (normally valued at $54). The special will be available during the restaurants’ weekend-long Valentine’s Day celebration, from Saturday, February 11, to Tuesday, February 14, 2012, during dinner only.
