Pizzeria via Stato Celebrates Local Heirloom Tomato Season

Chef David DiGregorio welcomes one of his favorite times of the year—local heirloom tomato season—with a litany of menu items presenting a multitude of varieties in thoughtful Italian-inspired preparations. Throughout the month you can enjoy the best of the season in flavorful menu items including Mix of Heirlooms Caprese Salad with hand-pulled mozzarella, olive oil and torn basil ($6.95); a BLT with Slagle Farm bacon, local heirloom tomatoes, pesto mayo and arugula ($8.95); and Local Cherry Heirloom Tomato Panzanella Salad with Seregno olives, cucumbers and pulled-and-toasted Red Hen bread ($6.95).
