L. Woods Primed for Lent

During the Lenton season, L. Woods Tap & Pine Lodge will set the fryer in overdrive for the ever popular Friday Fish Fry special.

Through Lent which ends April 3, diners can abide by the rules of the 40 day-fasting and eschew meat or use the occasion as an excuse to indulge in the generously-portioned crispy fish entrée offered every Friday at lunch for $16.99 and dinner for $22.99.

The fish fry features perch from the Great Lakes, which is always fresh, lightly battered, and served with a mound of crispy salt and vinegar french fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce.

On Friday and the rest of the week, L. Woods also offers many other fish options, such as fish and chips, which has a more robust batter and made with fresh cod.

For an option out of the fryer, L. Woods offers barbecue planked salmon and grilled salmon, both flown fresh from the waters off of Scotland. There's also parmesan crusted cod with lemon butter sauce, delicious in its simplicity.
