When A Man Loves A Woman, He Cooks Her Beef Consommé
As a child in Alsace, France, Chef Joho watched carefully and with admiration as his father time and time again showed how much he loved his mother by preparing Beef Consommé and Alsace Bone Marrow Quenelles, his favorite dish. An eloquent gesture made that brought a genuine sense of warmth, happiness, and unconditional love, it is with great pride that Chef Joho brings this elegant dish to his guests as part of an inspired Valentine’s Day menu at Everest as a tribute to his parents, and for those looking to celebrate their own romantic love story in a truly unique and memorable way.
For Chef Joho, food is highly personal and always made with love. He acquired some of his finest techniques from his parents; ones he uses both in his professional kitchen and at home with his own family.
The Consommé will be part of a special seven course degustation menu that will be served for $135 per person (price includes parking), with an optional wine pairing for $98 per person. As another rare treat, Everest will be open the entire weekend, Saturday and Sunday, February 13 and 14, from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.
