Wildfire Eden Prairie Supports Second Harvest Heartland and the Taste of the NFL This Thanksgiving

Wildfire Eden Prairie will be serving a special family style holiday meal on Thanksgiving Day in addition to the regular dinner menu and will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The family style meal will feature oven-roasted turkey, cedar planked salmon, New York strip roast and all the traditional sides for $26.95 per person, a portion of which will be donated to Second Harvest Heartland and the Taste of the NFL. Second Harvest Heartland is the Upper Midwest’s largest hunger-relief organization, striving to end hunger through community partnerships. Second Harvest works with a group of organizations to efficiently alleviate hunger in 59 counties throughout Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. Second Harvest Heartland operates the fifth largest food bank in the United States, helping feed 77% of the hungry in their service area.

The Taste of the NFL is a Minnesota-born tradition that started in 1992 at Super Bowl XXVI, and raised $90,000 that year for local hunger organizations. More than $6.8 million has been raised and distributed since then in the continuing effort to address the needs of the hungry and homeless.
