Giving diners yet another reason to head to the intersection of Pico and Main Streets in downtown Santa Monica, open directly next door to M Street Kitchen is a seasonally-inspired pizzeria serving up some of the finest in artisan-style pizzas. Stella Rossa Pizza Bar offers a select menu of 12-13-inch Neapolitan style pizzas highlighting a range of sustainable, locally-grown ingredients found at the Santa Monica farmer’s market and sourced by nearby purveyors.  Varieties are to include Margherita, Charred Pepperoni, Quattro Fromaggi, Shaved Mushroom and Spicy Calabrian, among others, which change seasonally.  Cooked in a stacked oven at extremely high temperatures (650 degrees Fahrenheit) to achieve Stella Rossa’s signature crisp crust, the restaurant’s culinary team spent countless months (and more than 30 variations) perfecting its signature pizzas.

Featuring an open kitchen, exposed brick walls, and reclaimed wood flooring to create an airy, casual vibe reflective of M Street Kitchen next door, guests at Stella Rossa Pizza Bar are able to dine at the 15-seat pizza bar or 50-seat dining room. The restaurant features a tableside wine cart offering a selection of more than a dozen varietals perfectly paired with its seasonal pizzas to taste and try, and a selection of salads, artisan salamis, artisan cheeses and other starters. Guests can also enjoy a variety of locally brewed draft and bottle beers.
