For some customers who have been coming here for years, all the restaurant needs to serve is its great roasted chicken with mushrooms, bacon, and pearl onions. For others, it's a classic steak and crisp, flat pommes frites. Still others are content with just the onion soup and a frisée-and-bacon salad with a poached egg on top. And that wonderful crisp baguette with real fresh butter.

    Learn the culinary tricks of the trade at your favorite French bistro, Mon Ami Gabi. On Saturday, July 11, class will be in session as Executive Chef Terry Lynch presents a three course how-to menu of signature summer dishes, including Gold Tomato Romesco Gazpacho, Seared Ahi Tuna with a Green Bean-Tomato Salad and Summer Herb Vinaigrette, and finishing with a Blackberry Tart with Homemade Puff Pastry for dessert. Bringing your appetite is a must, as attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy each course paired with drinks including French Lemonade with Chambord & raspberries, Sparkling Vouvray and French Sangria with mint .
