Burgers, Fries and Shakes

M Burger is Michigan Avenue’s newest burger joint. If Midwestern beef burgers are what you crave, try them atop an oven fresh bun and with crisp lettuce, onions, sharp American cheese and savory bacon. The signature “M Burger” is slathered with “secret sauce” making each bite one to savor. Golden slim fries and creamy chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry milkshakes are perfect accompaniments to the melt-in-your-mouth burger.

 

M Burger’s hamburgers and cheeseburgers will be available as single or double patties, along with a chicken sandwich and a chicken chopped salad.  Diners can also bite into “Nurse Betty,” an all-vegetable sandwich named after a well known nurse at Northwestern Hospital.  All menu items are priced under $5 and are topped with fresh ingredients to your liking, served in take-away containers.

 

Whether it’s a warm shopping day or a quick lunch break, M Burger will always be serving fresh squeezed lemonade and housemade peach ice tea for guests to take with them as well.

What’s with the name? “Two things: The Michigan Avenue burger, but if you ever ask [Frenchman] Jean Joho [ Everest] to say ‘hamburger’ he says ‘emburger,’” Melman says.

    New M Burger opens in the heart of River North!

    Five months after opening off Michigan Avenue on Huron in Streeterville with its carry-out menu of burgers, fries and shakes, M Burger comes to new territory, at 5 W. Ontario (at State Street), in the heart of River North, next door to Osteria via Stato. Offering the same, easy-to-navigate menu, M Burger Ontario is perfect for a quick lunch break, a casual dinner, or a late bite after a night in the neighborhood. Open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. through late night. Counter-top and table seating will be available.
