From where and how to buy ingredients, to the utensils needed, Ben Pao's Executive Chef Jim Hoveke shares tricks of the trade on how to cook delicious Chinese cuisine at home. Class from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. $35 per person (all inclusive), includes cooking demonstration, lunch and special Ben Pao sauces to take home.     National Tree Planting Day at Ben Pao

    April 1 is China's National Tree Planting Day, and for every Treetini ordered, a tree will be planted in honor of each guest and a special donation will be made to rainforest preservation. In addition, diners will be able to add a living symbol of their personal hopes and dreams to Ben Pao's Fortune Garden. Every Treetini will be served on a plantable coaster. Guests will write down their desires whether for prosperity, longevity, or happiness on the coasters, which are made from 100% post-consumer waste and embedded with wild flower seeds.
