FOODEASE PRESENTS SPECIAL BAR MENU WITH WINES ON TAP, LOCAL BREWS & LIGHT BITES
CHICAGO (November 2011) –FOODease, Lettuce Entertain You Restaurant’s new restaurant market concept, located at Water Tower Place, 835 N. Michigan Ave., welcomes you to pull up a stool after work or enjoy a shopping break with unique bar bites; all local beers; and wines on tap, by the glass and by the bottle.
Open seven days a week, this one-stop “restaurant market” has it all, including a bar with seating for 12. Unwind, meet friends or rest your soles in between stores with a well-honed bar and drink menu featuring sparkling, white and red wines and local beers specially selected by Master Sommelier Alpana Singh.
FOODease serves several wines “on tap,” which is ecologically friendly and also keeps the wine under pressure which preserves the freshness of each glass – until the very last drop! Enjoy Sauvignon Blanc on tap from Chile and Cabernet Sauvignon on tap from California; or sip a sparkling Prosecco from Italy, among others. Local beers include Elliot Ness, a Great Lakes Lager; Iron Works Alt from our very own Chi Town; and many more. Other favorites include Red and White Sangria, which includes fresh-cut green apples, pink apples and oranges.
To accompany your bubbles, wines or brews, you will find a carefully crafted menu of light bites. The Cheese Plate features Saint Andrew Triple Crème, Aged Goat Gouda, Prairie Breeze Cheddar, olives, seasonal fresh fruit and a mini baguette. Also, there is the Cured Meat Plate and House Plate, which is a harmonious blend of the best cheeses and meats.
Spice it up with a Mexican Shrimp Cocktail; refreshing Scallop & Green Apple Ceviche with citrus vinaigrette; Tuna Poke with sesame-soy vinaigrette; Roasted Olives and Homemade Hummus. Prices range from $3.95 to $8.95 for light bites; $4.95 to $8.95 for red and white wines by the glass; $18.95 to $34.95 by the bottle; and all local beer bottles are $5.95 or under. Sangria is $6.95 per glass.
