Where to celebrate Rosh Hashana: A guide of Chicago and suburb locations

Don't feel like cooking for Rosh Hashana this year? Here are a few places in and around Chicago that are serving up traditional Jewish dishes that you and your family can enjoy for the two-day holiday, which begins at sundown on Sept. 13.

Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab: If you’re seeking a traditional Jewish dinner, Joe’s Seafood has a multi-course menu which includes wild halibut en papillote, challah with sliced apples and honey, homemade gefilte fish and more. L.Woods Tap & Pine Lodge: Traditional Jewish meals will be served alongside garlic crusted whitefish, beef brisket, lemon sponge cake and a few other favorites.
