Lolla sightings: One Direction members take in music fest; Zoe Kravitz performs at Virgin hotel

One Direction didn’t come to Chicago this weekend for Lollapalooza like so many other celebs. The UK boy band has been staying in the city during the midwest portion of their tour. And because they were already here, some of the members of the band decided to take advantage of the Lolla festivities. Here are those sightings and a few more from a star-studded weekend:

- Pop star Joe Jonas had lunch at Beatrix and dinner at RPM Steak Friday before stopping by The Music Lounge 10 Years party at Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel and DJing at Hub 51’s lower-level club, Sub 51. G-Eazy joined fellow rapper Theophilus London at Sub 51 that night following his Music Lounge party set.

- Michael Pena (“Ant-Man”), retired boxer Mike Tyson and rappers Vic Mensa and Kid Cudiattended the NYLON Midnight City party Saturday at Virgin Hotels Chicago, which included a performance by “Mad Max: Fury Road” actress Zoe Kravitz’s band, Lolawolf. Kravitz checked out Mensa’s performance at Studio Paris that same night, as did “The Walking Dead” co-stars Alanna Masterson and Tyler James Williams after dining downstairs at Ramen-san.

- David Duchovny dined at RPM Steak before his performance Friday at Joe’s Bar (read my interview with “The X-Files” star at Joe’s here). Kaskade -- who performed at Studio Paris Friday after DJing at Lolla -- dined Thursday at RPM Steak and Wednesday at Ramen-san.

- Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett dined Saturday at Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab.

-"Shut Up and Dance” band Walk The Moon dined Friday at Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba.
