French Revolution
In the beginning, there was chef Jean Joho, who opened elegant French restaurant Everest (440 S. LaSalle St., 312.663.8920) high atop the Chicago Stock Exchange in 1986. Since then, he surreptitiously droped the Jean (just call him Joho, like Oprah, or Cher) not-so-surreptitiously won dozens of accolades, and, most recently gone into business with two spring chickens of the restaurant industry: brothers RJ and Jerrod Melman.
