“I just love my  job.”

First job ever:  My father was a ranch owner when I was little, so as far back as I can remember, every single day I used to wake up at 6:30 in the morning and call in the horses and cows before I went to school.

Here’s what I love about my job: It’s hard to put into words…I just love my job. I stay at Lettuce because they care about me…I’m happy here.

After a busy shift, I really like to: Play basketball! It’s my favorite sport and I’ve played in a league for 18 years. And I do karaoke, I actually sing in a group. And I love to shoot pool.

Favorite "guilty pleasure" food: Believe it or not, on my days off I come back to Ba-Ba-Reeba for the Chicken Curry Salad, and I’ve loved the paella since I was a dishwasher. And I love tacos.

My “dream guest” – the one person I’d like to cook for – is: Obama!

If you want a restaurant career, my advice is: Do it. You want to make sure this is what you want, so just do it.
