Sue Chernoff is Executive Vice President of Marketing for
Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, Inc.
As Executive Vice President of Marketing, her
responsibilities include supervision of various marketing plans and programs
for the company including: public relations, partnerships, promotions, web, email and mobile marketing, crisis communication, donations as well as the company's gift certificate sales and
marketing programs. She reports directly to Kevin Brown, President and CEO of
Lettuce Entertain You.
Sue Chernoff first worked for Lettuce Entertain You as a
waitress at Fritz! That's It!, under the direction of
then general manager and now partner, John Buchanan. The philosophy of the
company and the work experience left a strong, positive impression and
demonstrated to Sue her first exciting and inspiring look at the restaurant
business as it existed at LEYE.
Prior to being named Executive Vice President of Marketing,
Sue was Director of Public Relations and Promotions for Lettuce Entertain You,
a position she had held since 1995 when she rejoined the company.
Before Lettuce, Sue was a senior vice president for the
entertainment/ retail group at Margie Korshak, Inc. (MKI), an Advertising and
Public Relations agency in Chicago.
At MKI she coordinated the Lettuce account. Prior to MKI, Ms. Chernoff was the
marketing and public relations manager for Barneys New York in the Chicago and Troy
markets.
An honors graduate of Tulane University,
Ms.Chernoff is an active member of the Boards for the Anti-Cruelty Society, The
Lincoln Park Zoo and the Greater North Michigan Avenue Association. She enjoys
gardening, cycling, travel, comedy, cooking and reading in addition to the restaurant
business.
